Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actor. Her most well-known role is her role in the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played her role as Anna, as seen in Assault on Precinct 13 She was first recognized for her performance in the biographical 2005 film All the Way. Hind is also being recognized for her role performed in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season.
